Protective footwear using micro-cellular rubber is an extremely important part of caring for leprosy patients, as the footwear protects the insensitive feet from ulcers and deformities and overall, enhances the functional capabilities of the patient. SRH has developed a new design of MCR footwear, which is found to be highly effective in preventing ulcers. The cobblery unit of SRH produces special sandals, provided free of cost to patients who require them.
