Since most of the children arrive with low levels of literacy, SRH runs a bridge school on the campus in order to bring up their educational standards. Older children are then admitted to the local government school from Class IV. After completing Class X, a few of these children have moved on to the college level. Vocational training is also imparted so as to enable them to learn skills which would make them employable and independent. Extracurricular activities like computer classes, painting, drawing, singing and dancing keep the children happy and occupied.

In 2006, in partnership with Andhra Pradesh AIDS Control Society, SRH started a Care And Support Center Care, later called Community Care Center (CCC), with an aim to treat adult HIV/AIDS patients for opportunistic diseases. The project was closed down in Mar 2013 as the National Aids Control Organisation (NACO) has decide to stop all funding to HIV AIDs projects in the country. It had catered to over 8500 Out Patients and 3500 In Patients over the last seven years.
